Additionally, EHS provides education, health coaching, consultation, assessments for job accommodations, initiation of ergonomic evaluations, injury reduction, occupational exposure management, and medical surveillance; it also facilitates referrals and works to minimize outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases.

About Corewell Health Beaumont Service Center

A shared services building located on Northwest Highway near Lahser Road in Southfield, allowing teams to work together in a collaborative environment.

This role will also support the EHS team located at the Schaefer Medical Building in Dearborn.

Scope of work

Employee Health Services is looking for a dynamic leader to facilitate departmental harmonization, program growth, and cultivate a high functioning team that supports internal team members.

You will be responsible for leading an EHS team for one or more regions. Develop, implement, and evaluate health maintenance programs within Employee Health Services. Provide operational oversight for health services offered for team members involving assessment, treatment, counseling, referral, evaluation, and documentation, as appropriate. Triage and provide initial case management primarily for work-related injuries and illnesses. Formulate and implement injury prevention programs. Coordinate hospital activities to comply with extensive, complex, and changing governmental regulations (local, state, national).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nursing or in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field Required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within health care that includes project management/oversight or experience in designing, implementing, and managing employee health or related programs Required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience supervisory experience in management of staff Preferred.
