The Manager, DnA Consulting Solutions will manage the business, clinical and operational analysis and business intelligence of the organization. Lead a centralized function that is the single point of contact for DnA division to the various business functions across the enterprise. This role will champion and support our overall analytic intelligence "insight IQ" through the implementation of an enterprise-facing analytic practice that develops analytics solutions and support decisions makers through actionable data interpretation. Manage the dissemination of analytical results through written and oral presentations and serve as recognized authority in the application of analytics to the related functional domain(s).
Directs clinical and operational analysis, knowledge, and support and leverages that information to improve the performance and service levels of the business. Provides value-added, actionable information to improve business efficiencies and accuracy in the processes and to provide independence in performance reporting.
Lead of a team that consults with assigned business units to identify the most important data driven questions and define initiatives to solve business problems, and improve effectiveness
Oversee the development, maintenance and integrity of data sets used for analysis of enterprise programs, reports, internal and external research projects, and analytic studies
Implement the appropriate engagement model for assigned business functions with a focus on jointly identified value targets and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with business leaders to develop and validate operational goals and metrics and accountable for delivering against said goals and metrics
Manage the development of operational workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors and with others within the department to ensure timely delivery of data analysis and prevent duplication of effort
7 years of experience in health care data analysis, business intelligence or other related field
If no degree, 9 years of experience as stated above
3 years of experience in a leadership role either as a direct people leader
Experience with business intelligence and advanced analytic tools such as R, Python, SQL, SAS and Tableau
Masters degree in Public Health, Mathematics, Economics or an MBA with healthcare focus, or Masters degree in biostatistics.
Strong business acumen across a wide range of topics and functional areas.
Experience in Healthcare industry; prior experience as an analyst helpful.
Successful performance in prior position with analytical accountability required.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of business operations in the insurance industry.
An understanding of the company's key business processes, and its administrative policies and procedures.
