Position Summary

Our digital solutions team is a blend of experts from technology, marketing, and user experience who work together as one team to deliver exceptional user experiences for both internal and external customers. We're here to change healthcare by building a best-of-digital discipline in-house and we need an incredible manager to help us round out our team.Depending on the specific team, this role is responsible for providing management and leadership for one or many of the following areas:- Digital strategy- User experience and design- Software development/engineering- Digital quality assurance- Product management and ownership- Product analytics- Infrastructure support

Manage between 6-15 people Ensure their project work is the best it can be, while charting a course forcontinued career growth and professional development Work with the talent team to find, recruit, and land the best talent for your team Successfully onboard team members 30% Manage the WorkThis is a growing and in-demand team. Helping us keep a pulse of what'shappening in the business is key, while also being able to assess, prioritize, andbring work to the team. Work with business partners throughout the organization to understand theirgoals and be able to translate that into work for our team.

Review, evaluate and prioritize new requests. Determine either alone or with technical resources the high-level requirementsfor each body of work Assign and balance work across teams and resources Ensure team effectiveness and drive work that has clear ROI attached to it Organize people, processes and technology related to the department

Itmeans you help own the business of the digital solutions team. Work as a leadership team to make decisions that move digital solutionsforward and set our team up for long-term success Ensure the overall health of the digital solutions team beyond just the peopleyou manage Create an atmosphere where people want to work Help develop product roadmaps and a long-term vision for where our work isgoing Develop the culture of our team 10% InnovationEveryone on the Digital Team needs to own innovation. This role is no different. Stay on top of emerging Digital trends and capabilities Identify, assess, and appropriately support ongoing technology research anddevelopment Be a role model for our fail-fast culture, visibly failing (and learning) at leastonce per quarter

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (some degrees we're fond of: Marketing, Computer Science,Human Factors, Communications) or equivalent experience 8-12 years of experience, at least 5 managing teams of people Experience with desktop and mobile web, android and iOS apps, userexperience, design, digital quality assurance, and custom software development

Bonus Points Understanding and experience in managing product development through agilemethodologies Knowledge of the design thinking process Advanced degrees (PMP, MBA, etc) Depending on the team you'll manage:o Knowledge and experience with project management tools or softwarepackageso Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, user experience, and productdevelopmento Knowledge and experience of code languages (HTML, CSS, .NET, C#, Swift,etc) Content management software (Episerver, Sharepoint, Drupal, Wordpress,etc) and back-end infrastructure (web services, API or database development)o Knowledge and/or experience in delivering software automationo Knowledge and/or experience in software testing methodologies andautomated testing solutions development and implementation

This role will be charged with helping to grow volume and retain customers with our largest core business – the acute channel. What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health At Cardinal Health, the marketing organization is the central hub of business driving activity. Marketing analyzes customer behavior to understand their needs, and motivations, broadly defines and communicates the brand purpose and passionately delivers total solutions for our customers. Product Marketing applies the full range of marketing disciplines to drive integrated commercial marketing plans that result in customer acquisition, loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability. * Leverages customer and regional / geographical market knowledge and strong cross- functional collaboration to develop positioning, messaging, content, promotional tactics/programs to drive demand and meet annual business plans.
