The Product Owner is responsible for owning digital product workstream focused on property management within a multi-year strategic transformation of the core business model which includes developing new digital tools to improve the digital customer experience and the overall customer journey. The impact of this role will be centered on redesigning and reimagining the customer experience for perspective residents and existing residents. This role will be closely integrated with the Customer Experience, Innovation, and Technology Delivery teams to drive forward the program and will involve working with the Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams to develop the roadmap, user stories and execution plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Managing the Backlog: Develop the product backlog, including the development of user stories, for the CRM product in collaboration with the UX Strategists, Technology Team, and other Business SMEs.

2.Prioritizing Development Effort: Lead the prioritization effort with our development team(s) to ensure we are focused on the highest value features.

3.Accepting User Stories: Work with the development team to test and accept completed work through the sprint process.

4.Developing Business Processes: Develop, document, and improve core business processes with a focus on sales, maintenance, and renewals.

5.Collaborate with Stakeholders/Business Partners: This role will be working in concert with a broader digital transformation effort that crosses multiple teams in a highly mixed organization.

Other responsibilities:

  • Complete various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

  • Flexibility to engage across dynamically changing project responsibilities, similar to a start-up environment.

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
