The Operational Services organization at Schwab partners with teams across the firm to deliver on service promises to Schwab clients. We are responsible for protecting and safeguarding the assets of the firm and our clients while continuing to increase scalability and efficiency. The group supports all of Schwab's business enterprises and works with a wide range of internal stakeholders including IT, sales and service, strategy, and marketing.
Within the Transformation Solutions Team, the ENCORE team is a cross-functional group that is helping to drive transformation across operational and service communications for the broader firm. We use a variety of methodologies, tools, and capabilities to drive large-scale change.
The Manager, Digital Product Management will engage with various lines of Business, Technology, Product and Operations to help create and edit critical forms leveraged by Schwab's Clients. These forms are leveraged by the firm to collect information from current and future clients of the firm.
This role supports the strategic development, product vision, execution, and evolution of our most important communications, forms, and the overall client experience. This role will manage daily momentum of integration of technology, data, and process excellence, ensuring delivery of business value in line with the broader Smart Processing strategy. This will be accomplished through ownership of content management, communications, and agile software development practices with high quality and minimal guidance.
What you're good at
Support the process of ensuring firm-wide content and communication objectives are met by coordinating across the full Schwab ecosystem including business, channels, technology, change management, process redesign, and product development.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences including senior leadership and communicating change to impacted parties.
Directing and coordinating content edits and creation across related business units, associated projects, and other activities. Demonstrates exemplary ability to influence successfully at the extended team and director levels.
Assist in continued improvement of our services through stakeholder engagement, leadership forums, governance meetings, and compelling written communications that support firm-wide scaled planning efforts.
Analyzing and reviewing end to end operational processes to identify potential changes or enhancements for optimization.
Responsible for connecting between cross-enterprise workstream teams on identifying risks and dependencies, then help drive mitigations across program team.
Creating and evolving scaled ecosystem delivery frameworks alongside your Business Process Transformation colleagues to ensure we increase speed to market over time.
What you have
BA or equivalent degree preferred.
5-7 years of relevant work experience, including background in product management and financial services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data, develop recommendations, and influence and persuade partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and execute to meet strategic objectives.
Expert usage of Jira, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; familiarity and expertise with Adobe products, particularly Acrobat Pro, Workfront, InDesign and Adobe Experience Manager.
Effective relationship builder with the ability to partner cross-functionally and work effectively with various levels of the organization.
Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
Project management skills, with a track record of execution across multiple functions.
