About the role

The Manager, Performance Media will be responsible, in conjunction with the digital marketing team, external agency and one direct report, for the day-to-day execution across a host of tactics including Paid Search, Display, Paid Social and Affiliate marketing channels as well as site optimization for Organic Search. This person will partner with internal and external teams to ensure that each marketing channel aligns with current business and marketing needs. The primary responsibilities of this role is to aid in driving customer acquisition and retention through above mentioned channels, monitor budgets, continually evaluate ROAS and seek new ways to reach customers. Cross-functional communication between Digital Marketing, Creative, Brand, Merchandising and Social teams is also a critical aspect of this role.

The impact you can have

  • Define and execute digital marketing strategies across upper, mid, and lower full channels, including paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, and video, in partnership with external agency and one direct report

  • Evaluate new and current affiliate partnerships to understand opportunities to better leverage vendors and platforms

  • Oversee creative briefs for all paid media campaigns and assets, working closely with the creative team to maintain brand standards and platform best practices; ensure that cross-functional teams are equipped with insights on content performance to inform future content strategies and briefs

  • Attend appropriate weekly/monthly internal meetings to understand business needs and manage communication of business needs to external partners. Participate in and run weekly channel meetings with media agency partners

  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reporting and analysis to internal teams, including channel performance, creative optimization & market/channel trends and opportunities

  • Support and monitor digital marketing budget to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and report on actual, budgeted and forecasted projection in both spend, demand and return on ad spend on regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, along with managing invoices. Utilize Multi-Touch-Attribution platform to identify enterprise optimization opportunities

  • Analyze digital platform and landscape changes & opportunities for testing and seasonal planning integration. Partner with key digital account executives (ex: Facebook & Google) to understand product roadmap and beta opportunities

  • Participate in roadmapping of strategy, including creative testing strategies on multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, etc)

You'll bring to the role

  • 5+ year(s) experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics or performance marketing - retail, apparel and omni-channel experience a plus

  • 2+ years within an ecommerce or agency environment- retail, apparel and omni-channel experience a plus

  • Experience managing direct reports

  • Proven track record of managing digital marketing programs and optimizing campaigns for performance

  • Experience reporting on KPIs, marketing performance, user behavior, shopping flows, marketing tests & analysis.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective internal and external relationships

  • Knowledge of Analytics Systems ie. Adobe Ominiture, IBM Coremetrics or Google Analytics

  • Experience or knowledge of multi-touch attribution methodology and/or platforms
