UnitedHealth Group (UHG) is seeking a social media expert with a passion for storytelling who can bring the UHG voice to life to drive engagement and more meaningful relationships with audiences across our social media channels. As an excellent communicator, you understand complex issues and explain them through engaging, visual and well-written content. You will develop the editorial strategy across UHG's social platforms including concepting, creating, and executing communication plans. You'll lead how we communicate, inform and educate followers, opinion leadersand our own employeesabout UnitedHealth Group, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big health policy issues of the day.
You'll also work cross-functionally with communications teams across the enterprise to lead the development of social media content that's based on audience insights and enhances UHG's social presence and brand reputation. You'll advocate for social media within UHG and monitor trends and performance to develop recommendations for how both UHG and its executives can engage with audiences online. You'll build relations with internal stakeholders, including communications/editorial colleagues and marketing partners to further social media objectives.
Lead the development and implementation of creative social media content
Craft and champion UHG's social voice as you translate complex ideas into content across our social media channels
Oversee the day-to-day content strategy for UHG's social channels, managing multimedia and graphic design creatives to build out content calendars, defining cadence and overall strategy for social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn
Lead writing and editing content for UHG's social media channels, anticipate content gaps, and proactively propose ideas for sourcing ideas and content internally
Partner effectively with editorial colleagues on the team and work cross-functionality to ensure content and campaigns created for UHG's social channels are high-quality, reflect our voice, and represent the UHG brand
Manage real-time social media listening efforts by monitoring brand & corporate dashboards and integrating insights and trends into content planning and creation
Develop strategies to engage key audiences and grow a quality audience following across social channels
Manage and plan paid social media campaigns to target key audiences
Proactively build effective relationships with our social platform partners (e.g., Twitter)
Collaborate with our digital analytics team to evaluate and optimize performance of our paid social media campaigns
