Fox has a great opportunity for someone who is motivated and analytically minded to drive insights and improve/iterate on inventory forecasting, financial scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis to be a Manager, Digital Ad Sales Data Insights. These insights will drive pricing and packaging strategies, product direction and ad tech vendor assessment. As the Manager, you will work closely with Advertising Operations, Finance, Ad Tech as well as Advertising Sales and teams.
The Manager will be able to distill complex principles and business strategies into fluid visual dashboards aiding in forecasting and benchmarking performance. The Manager, Digital Ad Sales Data Insights will be an expert at understanding the different types of environments that exist across all Fox's digital distribution points including but not limited to 3rd party technology solutions. In addition, you will be conduit for the Pricing and Inventory team to distill 1st and 3rd party data to synthesize actionable insights. The analytical framework that the Manager builds will be the context for determining go to market strategies and servicing ad hoc projects as they arise.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will closely track our product and user metrics, develop the product and growth narrative for the ad sales executive team, and help build the foundation to incorporate research-driven qualitative input to drive revenue insights and pricing direction.
Collaborate across Business, Data and Engineering groups to prioritize, forecast and execute projects for the Digital Ad Sales Team
Develop a deep understanding of our product and user metrics by region, demo, platform, and depth of engagement using internal and external data sources
Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal teams by proactively raising your hand, rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done
Work closely with other members of the Ad Operations team to create and execute optimization tactics/KPIs that fit in well with the broader growth and analytics strategies
Synthesize data from multiple disparate sources to mine recommendations and optimization strategies driving user acquisition for the company
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
3+ years of prior experience of Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Investment Banking or Corporate Development
3+ years related experience in analyzing and modeling data
Experience with scripting and data visualization of large data sets with R, Excel, Tableau, Python a plus
Fluency with RDBMS, NoSQL or Analytic databases
Solid technical and digital platform knowledge including OTT and mobile devices
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work within both cross-functional teams internally and lead partnerships externally
Excellent communication skills with an ability to address business, marketing and technical audiences
Detailed knowledge of entertainment, new digital trends and technologies
Willingness to travel (>10%)
BA (Master's preferred, but not required)
