We're looking for someone to join our team as a IT Educator (Outpatient) who:

Provides for the education of super users and/or development of curriculum for super users and end-users of Clinical Information Systems (CIS), preceding the implementation of the software applications at different sites. Collaborates with facility educator in all activities related to the delivery of education to end-users of CIS.

Assists education coordinator in curriculum materials building and distribution. Develops and delivers communication of changes and updates to customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the development and ongoing maintenance of the education curricula for end-users integrating redesigned processes and application use incorporating the use of innovative educational strategies. Assists in the development and distribution of education programs for new releases and enhancements to the clinical information systems. Administers an education strategy based on assessment and requirements for users to gain competence in system use.

  • Administers a repeatable model by which super-user and end-user education will be executed which includes scheduling, education process, materials, post go-live support and new user education. Utilizes a structured process to evaluate the teaching and learning process for all education sessions and incorporate necessary changes into subsequent sessions.

    Oversees the assessment of user's pre-requisite skills. Oversees the performance of dedicated educator resources devoted to end-user education.

  • Ensures the availability and distribution of all education course attendance records, instructor guides, education handouts, assessment forms, and evaluation forms. Assists the Information Technology department in setting up the proper education environment, including adequate functioning of all equipment and furnishings. Collaborates with other Information Technology staff to identity trends in clinician support issues.

  • Provides go-live and ongoing support coverage for the clinical systems applications. Participates in initiatives to support change management within the primary departments impacted by the designated applications. Participates in project design meetings representing education needs.

  • Participates in the design and setup of the specialized education facilities to support installation activities and education sessions. Identifies potential process- and/or department-specific risks and assist in strategies to mitigate manage and/or resolve. Participates in organizational performance improvement teams to utilize CIS in support of process change and improvement.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Work Experience:

  • Three years technical experience: Preferred

  • Experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Imaging Assistant who: Safely transports patients to and from the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring patient support systems are in place at all times. Reports any changes in patient condition during the process to nurses and/or technologists. Essential Functions: * Safely transports patients (with and without oxygen, as appropriate) between their rooms and the diagnostic imaging department. Assists patients from wheelchair to exam table, stretcher or toilet and back as needed. Provides direct patient care as directed by technologists or radiologists, in conjunction with all imaging procedures. * Serves as liaison between technologists and unit nursing staffs. Performs all duties related to the hand off of care between the imaging department and hospital unit, including recognizing and reporting abnormal, emergent or unusual signs and symptoms based on patient population and common diagnoses (change in vital signs, intake, output, patient complaints, etc.). * Checks all documentation prior to patient transfer. Processes paperwork and assembles films in preparation for reading. Assists the imaging clerical staff as needed. Adheres to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patientKeeps stretchers and wheelchairs clean and neatly stored, blanket warmers and linens stocked, exam rooms tidy and equipment clean. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
