Overall responsible for the management and delivery of training initiatives. Lead efforts to design and build high-quality learning solutions for development programs for onshore and offshore employees. Support L&D processes, programs, and activities to ensure they are fit for purpose and delivered according to company needs. Project management of department and corporate training solutions that meet business needs and budgetary requirements. Assist with team-based training and the continuous improvement efforts of the learning and development team. Coordinate with other functions to ensure their needs align with L&D's overall strategy including key cross initiatives to support the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in management, HR or OD, or equivalent professional experience preferred 10+ years experience in developing, implementing, and improving Learning and Development programs 5+ years experience in offshore oil and gas operations during well construction activities Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach Sound business acumen with corresponding analytical and judgment skills Adaptable and innovative in design and execution of learning and development programs, processes and solutions. The ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal and external), exhibit strong customer focus, influencing skills, and to design, implement, and project manage Experience participating in and presenting at industry events and conferences (IADC / IWCF / IOGP etc.) Strong facilitation skills. Impeccable integrity, high work standards and strong problem solving skills a must. Must have a positive "can do" attitude and relentlessly support improvement for the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Owns the framework and oversees his/her team's execution of Competency Assurance, New Hire Training, Onboard Training, and Developmental Programs
Project manage the development of training material and programs that meet department objectives and vision
Author initiatives and strategies that align with business needs and department objectives
Assist in standardizing and organizing multiple training initiatives, ensuring global consistency and effectiveness.
Manage and support competency assurance efforts for employees and customers
Develop strategy for train the trainer/facilitator efforts on course development and course delivery
Ensure new hire and onboard (Rig based) training efforts are fit for purpose and meet the needs and standards of the company
Participate in the development and delivery of Crew Resource Management (CRM) training initiatives
Strategize with other departmental Directors to identify training needs, develop relevant programs and link them to L&Ds strategy.
Implement industry trends, innovation, and best practices in learning and development.
Manage assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of development programs.
Collaborate on succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Assist in the coordination of learning programs with other L&D and Noble initiatives
Share knowledge and understanding across the team and throughout the company.
Travel as necessary, estimate 20%

Maintain project and program files
Maintain or access statistical information from all sources where necessary
Provide inputs to budgeting for program and project cost
Generate business case (cost estimates / optimization options) as required
Conduct correspondence as necessary to conduct department business
Interface with all departments and divisions in the performance of job functions
