Detroit Regional Chamber in Detroit, MI is looking to hire a full-time Detroit Drives Degrees Community College Collaborative (D3C3) Manager to increase education attainment as a means to promote economic prosperity and greater equity throughout the region. What We Do: A collective impact initiative of the Detroit Regional Chamber Foundation's Education & Talent Strategy, the mission of Detroit Drives Degrees is to improve the talent pipeline in the Detroit region by providing increased and equitable access to educational opportunities for all residents

What Drives You: Doing this work requires diverse leadership by team members who share a commitment to both our mission and to supporting the process of long-term systems change. You should be passionate about education and about working with business and other sectors to catalyze change.

What We Need: The manager will be responsible for facilitating the k-12 alignment cluster, providing leadership of the D3C3 evaluation, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

This role builds and maintain strong, trusting relationships with all partners and stakeholders. This person will work very closely with the coordinator and director of D3C3 to ensure the initiative progresses towards its goals and stays on the right trajectory

An ideal candidate for the Manager, D3C3 position would embody or possess the following:

Degree and/or experience in k-12 education, higher education, and content knowledge of college access and college success required

Dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging principles

Strong relationship development and management skills with internal and external partners

Experience in cross-sector collaboration, project management and large-scale evaluation strongly preferred

Strong group facilitation skills

Good organizational, note-taking and time management skills

Cultural sensitivity
