Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Manager, Data Integration & GIS with proven leadership and work experience with the administration of GIS databases in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our growing team!

Role Summary:

The Manager, Data Integration & GIS role is responsible for managing Buckeye's Geographic Information System (GIS), which includes the development and implementation of processes/procedures for integrating geospatial asset integrity data, maintaining Buckeye'sGIS as its single source for pipeline records, and providing efficient tools for accessing and reporting pipeline-related information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Data Integration. Leading efforts to align various pipeline integrity, corrosion control, right-of-way, and pipeline material records into Buckeye's GIS for risk evaluation and mitigation, including High Consequence Area (HCA) and Emergency FlowRestricting Device (EFRD) analyses

  • Program Implementation. Interfacing with Asset Integrity, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, One Call, Business Development, HSSE, Engineering, and other business/support groups to understand GIS needs and support implementation of those programs

  • Personnel Management. Leading team of subject matter experts in the performance of GIS and document management-related processes and procedures

  • Documentation. Maintaining and tracking project records through a Document Management Program, and conducting QA/QC reviews of historical records to validate GIS data

  • Reporting. Providing data to support various regulatory agency and internal reporting requirements

  • Technical Support. Serving as the GIS application help desk for employees and contractors to provide resolution of end-user difficulties and supporting all GIS-related software and hardware requirements with support from the IT Department, as necessary

  • Vendor Liaison. Engaging outside services as appropriate and serving as principal contact with GIS vendors for upgrades, cost control, and technical support

  • Budgeting and Forecasting. Supporting ongoing planning activities, including the annual budget process and monthly forecasting

  • New Technologies. Evaluating new GIS technologies, products, and services and making recommendations to management for implementation

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geography/Cartography/GIS, Information Science, Engineering or equivalent required.

  • Prior managerial experience required.

  • 5+ years experience with pipelines/pipeline integrity, or work experience with the administration of GIS databases is required.

  • Proficiency with server-based and web-based data applications, as well as SQL Server and relational databases, and MS Office applications required.

  • Knowledge of GIS software and GIS concepts is required, Esri tools experience strongly preferred, and Esri APR experience preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience in developing/implementing management system related technology preferred.

Certificates & Licenses:

  • GIS Professional Certification (GISP) helpful.

Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities:

  • Good visual acuity, with color perception, and effective hand/eye coordination are necessary.

  • Requires excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and a high level of attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills (both oral and written), organizational and managerial skills and the ability to effectively negotiate with vendors are essential.

  • Maintain high level of technical expertise to remain current with changing technology, standards and regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.

  • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

The Regional Transportation Manager operational responsibilities are Tanker Fleet management, Retail Outbound execution, Raw Material Inbound and network stock transfers. This individual plays a crucial role in successful attainment of organizational cost and service objectives. The Regional Transportation Manager (RTM) has leadership responsibility for Nestle Waters' MA Transportation associates and our 3rd Party Transportation Management Company. The RTM sits on the Mid-Atlantic Supply Chain Leadership Team and holds responsibilities on the National Transportation Team. This position reports directly to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Supply Chain Director with a dotted line to the National Transportation Manager for Nestle Waters North America. Safety being a core value of Nestle, this role is pivotal in establishing and promoting a Safety Culture both internally and with NWNA transportation partners. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Manage relationships with Mid-Atlantic carrier partners to ensure that full-year transport capacity requirements and service objectives are attained at the lowest-landed cost * Provide Transportation industry knowledge to identify and implement best in class transportation strategies and practices; * Proactively collaborate with key Supply Chain stakeholders (Warehousing, Customer Service, Planning and Import) to raise awareness of Transportation opportunities and initiatives; * Provide leadership and subject matter expertise towards Continuous Improvement / Lean programs and initiatives; * Coach and develop employees to enhance team capabilities; take an active role in the Performance Evaluation and Succession Planning initiatives for the department; * Perform cost and service benchmarking to ensure that MA regional performance maintains best-in-class levels; * Identify, quantify and communicate significant customer events or network volume activities for reporting in financial forecasts; * Establish and communicate department goals and objectives; develop daily / weekly / monthly reporting to monitor performance against set targets.
