Mgr Reporting & Data Analysis

You will be joining the Operations Business Intelligence Team, a team with a vision to transform the way we work, enabling better business decisions through optimizing and simplifying the experience of our internal customers relative to their data. story, KPI's and reporting needs across PBM Operations. As a manager, you will bridge the understanding of a business owner's needs and pain points with your teams deliverables (deep dive, design, develop, maintain/automate). You will be required to combine strong knowledge of the business operations and the corresponding data domains with excellent technical skills, to deliver the right solution for the right business problem and the right audience. This will require you to be able to move fast and adapt quickly.
How you will make an impact:
Manages the prioritization and development of applications and reports for business reporting and analysis purposes including ad hoc data analysis and special projects.
Executes data analytics, reporting automation, and storytelling.
Communicates advantages and drawbacks of datasets; for example, explaining how bias or sample size impacts conclusions.
Maintains the consistency of our data infrastructure by ensuring accurate data storage and help tackle data collection issues as they arise.
Validates collected data and independently resolve data quality issues that may be complex in scope.
Uses various analytical and statistical techniques to summarize and communicate trends, patterns.
Visualize and present data through developed dashboards that drive self-exploration and automate the generation of insights.
Interpret and communicate key findings to leadership to assist in business decision making.
Implements the policies, practices, and procedures and obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) of the company and business units supported.
Has fiscal responsibility for area budgets.
Establishes rapport with leaders, peers, and internal business partners.
Ability to communicate with customers about technical issues in non-technical terms.
Understands the business processes that the system supports.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
MBA, MIS, FSA/ASA, CPA preferred.
Experience in business operations, preferably in PBM or health care preferred.
Experience making decisions with little oversight or guidance preferred.
Team leadership experience, and proven track record of developing junior team members.
Database and database management skills strongly preferred.
Experience with SAS and SQL required, advanced experience preferred.
Experience with R, Python or other scripting language.
Experience with data visualization and manipulation tools.
Intermediate to advanced coding, automation, and visualization skills.
Strong research and analytical toolkit, including ability to identify and understand qualitative and quantitative data.
Experience working with or merging large datasets.
Experience transforming data with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to troubleshoot job failures and resolve data quality issues.
Knowledge of leading trends and best practices in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
