Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading a data management team and providing customer data analytics services in support of marketing, sales, CSAT research /improvement and customer operations. The incumbent will lead data projects, and manage the execution by planning project activities, assigning tasks to team, tracking and monitoring the tasks, and working closely with management and data scientists.

More specifically the responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate and lead all data support efforts for Marketing and Sales

  • Build and maintain an effective data environment for delivering data solutions

  • Partner with technical and non-technical resources across the business to promote the efficient execution of projects

  • Perform hands-on tasks including data acquisition, data transformation, analysis, and visualization.

  • Identify and understand client issues and gaps in their existing technology / tactical implementations and recommend data solutions to meet business's immediate and long-term needs.

  • Provide guidance, supervision, training, and expert consultation to staff members and act and be seen as trusted data advisor for best business practices across customer solutions organization.

  • Develop analysis models, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and help create customized reporting tools based on real time needs of users particularly from market intelligence, sales strategy, energy services, and EE, DR and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science, business, economics, or related fields plus 5 or more years of related data analytics business experience

  • 10+ Years of prior equivalent work related experience in lieu of a degree

Desired Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of experience in quantitative modeling and data management in the energy industry.

  • Excellent people skills and team management experience.

  • Strategic thinking in technology space.

  • Mastery of data architecture and data modeling

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to bridge the gap between data science and business management.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and is detail oriented.
