The Manager, Data and Analytic Solutions is responsible for contributing to the development of data and analytic solutions that are in direct support of operational business objectives. This involves the integration of predictive models, data products and user interfaces into a variety of analytic solutions that are easily integrated into the decision making systems of various stakeholders. The Manager, Data and Analytic Solutions will join a growing team team of product owners that constantly collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to create, operationalize, and support proprietary, advanced solutions that provide operational support, strategy, and execution based upon the collection, analysis, and modeling of company data. They will also be required to integrate Data Science into large-scale, coordinated work streams by defining requirements, coordinating and conducting the execution of data analysis and analytics, and integrating outputs into a robust framework. This will involve working closely with and influencing end stakeholders to ensure that operational plans are tightly aligned with business objectives, and will also involve the creative deployment of Comcast's wealth of data into products. This individual will lead with influence and may serve as the lead on specific tasks within larger projects.
Serve as a product owner for various data and analytic solutions; developing roadmaps and vision for solutions, prioritizing requirements, overseeing development of the solutions and acting as the primary liaison to the end user community
Serve as the primary point of contact for various stakeholder groups for owned analytics solutions. Understand their business needs and processes so that solutions developed provide impact and can be implemented into their processes.
Partner with stakeholders and colleagues to develop business cases for the development of new solutions. Through this partnership, support implementation and adoption of developed solutions.
Leverage analytical methodologies to develop business and functional requirements, schedules, and programmatic materials in support of data and analytic solutions
Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Travel up to 25%
BA/BS degree in data-driven disciplines such as economics, statistics, mathematics, or finance. MS/MA or MBA strongly preferred.
Years of Experience:
Generally requires 6-9 years of related job experience.
Possesses a balance of general business knowledge, ability to work with relational databases, analytical acumen, and presentation skills
Familiarity with product management and agile development methodologies
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively communicate product strategy and development status at multiple levels of the organization, including executive management and cross-functional groups
Ability to grasp complex analytical principles, techniques and tools and understand which combination can be brought to bear to solve specific business problems
Personal initiative to find opportunities and drive results working independently
Persuasive with excellent verbal and writing skills. Relentlessly motivated when working with large and complex datasets. Naturally receptive to direct feedback and constructive criticism. Thrives in a collaborative team-oriented environment that is highly matrixed.
Strong SQL skills
Proficiency in at least one analytical tool (e. g. SAS, R, Python)
Knowledge of big data concepts, including Hadoop (hiveQL)
Familiarity with the integration of data into operational processes through the use of RESTful API's and software applications.
Experience working in consulting or on a product team
