The Manager, Data & Algorithms focuses on predictive and prescriptive analytics that solve a business problem or inform decisions using evidence-based approaches. They will direct a team responsible for research, productization and implementation of advanced analytics models using large volumes of structured and unstructured data along with a diverse set of advanced analytics techniques from a variety of fields and industries. They will provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and modeling experience. This position leverages knowledge of the Recruiting business domain and a broad set of technical skills to the development of consumer grade technical frameworks and solutions. The Manager is engaged in developing a strategic portfolio that will evolve the way Amazon Hires. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the organization, Universities and industry through thought leadership and engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the roadmap and strategy to implement a consumer grade Analytics/ML techniques and models to rapidly drive business and customer value based on assessing business plans for the greatest areas of opportunity.

  • Establish a model that develops a Big Data strategy across a chain of ecosystem partners and internal organizations.

  • Collaborate with internal, external and cross functional teams to lead efforts in bringing in new technologies, frameworks and methodologies that expand current offerings into a consumer grade offering.

  • Evangelize the benefits of incorporating Analytics/ML with the goal of identifying new opportunities for embedding algorithms into existing or new business processes.

  • Lead a team of technical Product Managers to conduct Proof of Concept (POC) projects as needed to vet techniques and potential business value models.

  • Seek and refine data enrichment methods and new internal and external data sources.

  • Consult with Infrastructure teams on development of automated processes to cleanse and integrate datasets from disparate sources.

  • Work with Infrastructure teams to evaluate and implement new analytics platforms, services and methodologies.

WFS CS Quality team is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to help develop and maintain quality assurance processes for Amazon vendors around the globe. The Quality Assurance Specialist should understand the business metrics (quality and productivity KPIs), build a story which summarizes holistic quality performance, identify solutions and implement the necessary actions. Following this initial phase it is imperative to own the actions and drive the required changes which lead to improved performance. Responsibilities: * Monitor and report Quality metrics, deep dive and identify trends/root causes. * Liaise with internal and external teams to implement best practices and to drive performance improvements. * Recommend, own and drive performance improvement areas. * Drive through improvement initiatives until implementation. * Support/consult with the necessary functions to ensure new policies/processes are successfully scoped and rolled out with measurable results against key metrics. * Assist with compiling, analyzing and driving First and Repeated Contact Resolution improvement initiatives. * Provide the operation a holistic view of customer performance and identify the levers which will drive improvements. * Provide clear insight into performance drivers and the levers which impact performance. * Implement and own action plans which driver performance improvements. * Uses quality monitoring data management system to compile and track performance at team and individual level. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mix of quantitative, consultative, and facilitation/leadership skills. S/he will have a documented track record in driving change; leading and facilitating teams that have significantly improved processes, training, and leading in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
