TJX Marketing is looking for a motivated, experienced, self-starter to join its growing Customer Insights and Analytics team as a Customer Analytics Manager. We are on a journey to uncover insights in customer behavior, profitability and marketing effectiveness across all TJX brands in the US and Canada including T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, Winners, and Sierra as well as tjmaxx.com and sierra.com in the US.
We are looking for an experience analytics professional that will work with TJX's North American marketing teams to develop a deep understanding of our customers across all aspects of their engagement with TJX brands. The Customer Analytics Manager will produce insights, analysis and recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and drive sales. This person will be as excited to create business critical dashboards and quick ad hoc customer analyses as they are to build more comprehensive story decks that drive towards business action. Being comfortable driving towards clarity and serving as a marketing analytics expert in verbal, written and visual form is critical. As a proactive, collaborative business partner this person will clearly display and articulate actionable insights to influence data-driven business decisions across multiple levels of the organization.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions, develop profiles and recommend data-driven segmentation approaches and deliver actionable insights to improve customer engagement and lifetime value.
Synthesize data, uncover insights and create compelling data visualizations from multiple sources to tell a story and influence business actions.
Work with TJX brand and loyalty teams to develop analysis focused on performance metrics around the lifecycle of new and existing customers.
Partner with marketing managers to deliver insights which will maximize customer onboarding, marketing effectiveness and understand trends across various customer segments.
Develop campaign response analysis including determining sales lift, engagement and ROI associated with each program to inform and optimize corporate marketing strategies.
Act as a liaison with internal business partners (IT, Loyalty, International Marketing) and outside vendors (global database, email service provider, credit provider) to ensure timely/accurate delivery of reporting and analysis.
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative field.
A minimum 5 years' experience in marketing analysis with a track record of delivering actionable business insights.
Advanced proficiency working with large datasets to extract, manipulate and analyze customer performance using business intelligence tools such as SQL (required), Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx, etc
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Proven track record in analytical segmentation, testing, response and campaign ROI analysis.
Curious, self-motivated thinker; always asks why and strives until the answer is clear.
Strong oral and written communicator with demonstrated experience translating analytics findings into business insights and influencing business stakeholders to drive action and optimize business performance.
Ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a collaborative deadline-driven environment.
High degree of proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Office
