TIDAL is looking for a full-time, NYC-based Manager, Culture & Content, Latin, who has a passion for Latino music and culture and is an overall music programming dynamo. The person in this role will be responsible for playlist curation and content creation pertaining to the genre in the U.S. and in some key countries in Latin America. Candidates must also possess an ability to work independently, as well as with a team. This position will report to the Director, Culture & Content, Latin.
Curate playlists based on knowledge, trends, new music, cultural moments, etc.
Aid in securing talent for playlist curation, content, etc.
Assist in management of all Latin releases, connect with appropriate teams to ensure accurate and timely releases
Assist in production of video and text interviews with Latin artists and personalities
Consult on marketing and PR plans regarding Latin content and releases
Communicate with labels regarding new music releases
Ideate content pieces for cultural events, marketing initiatives, music anniversaries, etc.
Participate in brainstorms & pitch meetings and bring new ideas to the table
Experience & skills that you need:
4-year B.A. degree in a related field
Knowledgeable of Latin music/entertainment/streaming markets
Bilingual a must (proficient in Spanish writing and speaking)
Strong list of Latin music industry contacts a huge plus
Strong written, verbal/interpersonal communication skills is a must
Experience with digital project management tools
Strong Microsoft Suite and Google Docs skills required (Word and Excel)
