Job Title:Manager, CRM Analytics & Business Intelligence
We are currently seeking a Manager, CRM Analytics & Business Intelligence! The primary responsibility of the Manager/Principal, CRM Operations and Data Sciences is to (1) Provide data analysis to drive business decisions aimed at meeting departmental and organizational objectives. (2) Support the organization to make data-driven business decisions across multi channels in the Marketing department. (3) Collaborate with other team members to maintain, develop, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns including email, direct mail and other channels. (4) Generate insights and testing methodologies based on campaign performance. (5) Develop and automate daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards. (6) Explore and implement state-of-the-art technologies (A.I., Machine Learning, Data Mining, etc.) to enhance predictive models, decision engines, marketing metrics, and marketing strategies
Collate and develop best practices on managing campaigns by customer segment, test/control offers and by channel (e.g. email, Direct Mail), and support properties in maximizing campaign results throughout the customer lifecycle (e.g. acquisition, trial, incline, decline, lapse)
Support the campaign lifecycle from offer design thru deployment, unify campaign proforma schema thru data, and response thru post-analysis
Identify and advocate profitable opportunities for cross-channel campaigns
Support CRM in developing and maintaining automated, self-service reports as well as processes.
Develop and maintain the cross-Channel, real-time dashboard, that helps marketers focus on what is important or what are outliers that require action
Collate and develop best practices on building, testing and deploying marketing rules ranging from triggered campaigns to real-time marketing
Support CRM in customizing best practices to their specific market and competitive situation
Derive insight from the analytics and communicate insight narratives to senior leadership and peers
Training and coaching Team members in the full use of the BI tools to maximize its benefit
Collate and develop best practices on building, testing and deploying predictive models. Example includes: eDM optimization. paid media optimization, customer journey analysis, social media analysis, personalization/preference model, customer segmentation
Build and monitor the results of the productionalized advanced analytical models and develop triggers to identify when model performance is outperforming and/or underperforming against criteria
Perform data visualization to explore unhypothesized trends and relationships in the data
Explore and implement state-of-the-art technologies (A.I., Machine Learning, Data Mining, etc.) to enhance predictive models, decision engines, marketing metrics, and marketing strategies
Leadership & Strategic Planning
Challenge the way we do business through application of advanced analytics to integrate insights in the operational workflow
Help to drive recommendations on specific KPIs that may differ across channels (EM/DM) and develop reporting around those metrics
Participate in strategic discussions across channels to understand optimization opportunities and how they impact performance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, EEE, Statistics, Math, Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Physics, Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or related fields preferred
Minimum 4 years of work experience. Experience in travel, hospitality, financial services or internet/mobile industries is a plus
Experience working in a corporate environment that required planning among cross-functional business units
Experience or interest in Cruise Industry/marketing
Strong analytical skills and logic / problem solving skills
Ability and desire to learn new technologies and tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience in monitoring/auditing database campaigns
Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with frequent interruptions distractions
Adapt to frequent changes in workload and be able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate while completing tasks within established time frames
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow Team Members, management, outside contacts, guest and the public
4+ years hands-on experience with SAS, including and not limited to SAS Macro programming, Proc SQL and SAS reporting is required. Experience with R/Python/Java is a plus
Good understanding in basic Statistics and Math is required
Direct involvement in working with large volumes of data and building, deploying and measuring (a) predictive analytics models (i.e. SVM, decision tree, clustering, logistic regression, linear and non-linear regression), (b) test/control offers, and (c) real-time marketing rules; experience with US and Asian markets preferred
Experience Building multi-channel marketing campaigns is a plus
Experience in applying business automation and predictive analytics in the travel & entertainment industries or eCommerce or marketing is a plus
Understanding of Web/Marketing Technology is a plus
Understanding and/or hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Hadoop, Spark is a plus
