The Opportunity
At Ally, every individual is a risk manager. The Business Line Risk teams operate independently of functional teams within Ally Credit Card. We are looking for an experienced business line risk manager to oversee Enterprise Access Controls, Company Records and Information, Business Continuity as well as other Governance/Oversight functions. This work includes establishing and maintaining strong working relationships both within the Card function as well as the broader Enterprise teams to ensure alignment with Ally expectations and policies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage tasks effectively. Proven ability to maintain strong relationships. Presentation creation and delivery skills a must. Other areas of cross over work will include helping the LOB manage and comply with policy governance expectations, regulatory change adherence, regulatory assessments, and broader ad hoc tasks.
This is an in-office role, Ally work locations in either Wilmington DE or Charlotte NC - Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days remote
The Work Itself
Assist in management of all governance and oversight functions for Business Line Risk.
Manage access controls, permissions, and user lists to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will work closely with the IT team to maintain and enhance access control procedures within Ally Card.
Oversee Company Records and Information for Ally Card and assist the Line of Business in the identification, management, and disposal of records.
Manage business disruption risks, including the creation, maintenance, testing, and execution of business continuity plans.
Escalate concerns and decisions/solutions to leadership timely.
Assist the Business Line Risk Team with ad hoc tasks.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships cross functionally with all business functions within Ally Card and across other lines of business in the bank.
Create executive level PowerPoint presentations along with ability to deliver same.
The Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
5+ years of relevant work experience in Risk and/or Credit Card.
Experience in access control management or similar role.
Experience and strong knowledge in records and information management principles and best practices.
Experience in information governance and compliance standards.
Experience in Business Continuity Planning.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with all levels of the organization.
Strong ability to present material in a clear & concise manner.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively to build strong partnerships with multiple teams across the organization.
Ability to think strategically, use sound judgement, and balance short and long- term risk decisions.
Comfortable challenging subject matter experts.
Ability to make decision using sound judgement and business acumen.
Proven ability to manage issues through to resolution.
