Manager, Cost Accounting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

• Financial Analysis and Accounting Operations

o Monitor and analyze actual costs and prepare monthly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

o Monitors and analyzes changes in raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.

o Maintain and coordinate Transfer Price analysis with affiliates.

o Assist in costing new product development, product launch and product obsolescence.

o Monitors and analyzes distribution costs (freight & warehousing).

o Monitors and analyzes financial & operational reports.

o Lead and manage the quarterly excess and obsolete inventory review process.

o Develops and maintains actual cost data in Oracle system.

o Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and

inventory valuation.

o Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts and provides business decision support.

o Key contributor in ERP projects and enhancements

o Ensure monthly ERP manufacturing transactions are performed timely and accurately.

• Financial Reporting

o Assist in the preparation of monthly financial, legal, management and group reporting.

o Providing cost reporting and freight reporting to aid in management decisions.

o Ad-hoc reporting.

o Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and audit requirements.

o Plans, coordinates, and participates in the physical inventory.

o Manage the coordination with plant manager and directors, forecast and budget for manufacturing facilities and copack locations.
