The purpose of this position is to manage the Corrosion Control functions for all the company's pipeline and facility infrastructure within the state of Georgia and Tennessee. Through subordinates, contractors, and other departmental personnel, this position will ensure that the company's Procedures, Engineering Standards, and best practices meet all applicable code and regulatory requirements.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Corrosion Manager Position is accountable for, but not limited to the following:
Business Execution+ Compliance survey data monitoring (i.e., annual test points, isolated services, casings, bonds, foreign crossings, rectifiers, atmospheric inspections, etc.); such that all monitoring is performed according to all applicable codes, standards, and procedures.+ Troubleshooting of Corrosion Control related components (i.e., low systems, rectifiers, interference areas, shorted conditions, etc.) such that all troubleshooting is performed, documented, and tracked in a timely fashion.+ Corrosion Control remediation projects and work orders (i.e., install anodes, clear short, install insulator, repair / replace test station); such that all work orders are generated, documented, and tracked in a timely fashion.+ Specialty Corrosion Control Program Management & Tracking (Casings, Bridge Inspections, AC Mitigation, etc.)
Communication+ Monthly Reporting of Business Analytics (Project Status, Financial Variance Reporting, Current Issues).+ Weekly Reporting as required.+ Presentations during periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Relationships and Networking
Innovation+ Evaluation and recommendation of new equipment/technology and corresponding processes/procedures that could potentially be incorporated in existing facilities.+ Keeping abreast of technical advances that may be valuable considering increased efficiencies, manpower needs and environmental regulations.+ Identification of computer application improvements required and coordination with IT as necessary to implement.

7 - 10 years corrosion control experience
5 - 7 years pipeline experience
Preferred:
Experience in pipeline integrity issues such as pipeline assessment, fitness for service evaluation, risk management, and DOT Code requirements and compliance.+ Large Project Management Experience
2-3 years supervisory experience.
