The Manager, Corporate Strategy plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the business. You will assist in all strategy-related matters and corporate development initiatives (M&A, financing, etc.). You will operate as key player of the strategy team, providing expert strategic advice skills to CEO, CFO, and management team.

Your challenge:

  • Drive company-level strategic growth planning; collaborate with executive and finance teams to develop tools and structure to enable flexible but effective quarterly, annual, and long-term strategic planning

  • Work with external research firms, investment banks and consulting firms on a continuous basis to understand disruptive trends and how to best position letgo for future growth

  • Implement and manage company and department-level OKR's and KPI's and create qualitative and quantitative reporting tools to create actionable, commercially-oriented processes and solutions

  • Develop analytical frameworks to identify, assess, and determine growth opportunities

  • Work with management on driving priorities and cross-functional initiatives (e.g. strategic acquisitions / investments, capital raising and deployment, and new business initiatives)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across finance, operations, product, monetization and marketing teams to develop a holistic understanding of the business

  • Develop, manage, and execute on business strategies that will position letgo to become the leader of our space, in partnership with key team members

  • Communicate findings effectively to investors and key stakeholders, both verbally and in written form including end-to-end, polished, executive-ready presentations

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a strategic capacity in management consulting firms, investment banking, marketing strategy or corporate strategy roles

  • Problem solver with the ability to make sound, forward-looking decisions

  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment with tight deadlines under minimal supervision

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with many cross-functional stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication - comfortable presenting to senior executives and external stakeholders

  • An understanding of the industry landscape and ability to harness it to manage our business opportunities

Work You'll Do: The Manager will work as part of Deloitte LLP's internal corporate strategy team to support and lead specific corporate strategy projects that focus primarily on growth, innovation, risk, and operations within the Deloitte US firm. Projects could include any of Deloitte's specific functional businesses, including Audit, Consulting, Advisory, and Tax, cross functional business opportunities, new services or businesses, or specific channels (e.g., clients, industry sectors, geographies). The Manager will have opportunities to interact with senior leaders in the organization and also assist in the execution of various special projects which have the potential to significantly impact our organization. Responsibilities: * Helping to execute and manage various special projects involving strategy development, analysis and planning for achieving business growth, performing market entry and/or expansion, and developing other strategic initiatives related to clients, services, industry programs, talent, and global network collaboration * Working with Senior Management to achieve and sustain superior overall performance * Managing complex projects with multiple work streams and geographically distributed resources including off-shore professionals * Researching solutions, frameworks and methodologies to address specific project needs * Driving primary research, including structuring and developing research hypotheses, interview guides and surveys, managing external vendors, and performing targeted data analysis and synthesis * Managing secondary research efforts utilizing tools and databases such as Factiva, Hoovers, CapitalIQ, Dealogic and others * Developing and applying appropriate methodologies for market segmentation and sizing, market trend and competitive landscape analyses, client portfolio analyses, business and financial modeling, operations analyses, etc * Synthesizing results of quantitative and qualitative analyses into key trends, implications, and/or recommendations * Developing content for executive level presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations * Helping to design, developing content for, and helping to facilitate various executive workshops and working sessions * Managing client relationships, engagement risks, and project economics including planning and budgeting * Acting as a counselor and coach to lower level staff members, and provide guidance in staff recruitment and retention activities The Team Part of Deloitte LLP, the internal corporate strategy team supports and leads corporate strategy focused on growth, innovation, risk, and operations within the Deloitte US firm.
