The Manager of Corporate Payments ("CP") Implementations North America (NA") is responsible for the daily oversight and management of the Corporate Payments Implementation Team. This includes direct management of Implementation Managers as well as overall responsibility for the full portfolio (approximately 1000 implementations per year) of new and organic growth implementations for WEX Direct, WEX Financial Institution ("FI") Partners and any future addition(s) to the portfolio. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Go to Market and FI Partner teams to insure that requests for new implementations are complete and are managed within expected timeframes as set forth by CP guidelines and/or as agreed to with the partner/customer. The complexity of implementations will range from simple to complex requiring detailed integrated project plan, integration via API and close collaboration between WEX and the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of Implementation operations providing accurate, responsive service to WEX's clients and key partners
Insure team is adhering to guidelines, timeframes, and controls as set forth by WEX CP and Audit
Strategically align resources to execute against capacity plan, and appropriately disseminate workload across the team making sure there is adequate cross-training and coverage for all portfolios
Increase productivity and efficiency utilizing technology, process, performance and controls
Work closely with the Go to Market and FI Partners to understand the nuances of their contracts and impact to Corporate Payment clients
Build and foster strategic relationships with other internal departments and associates involved with the Corporate Payments Portfolio
Prepare and present professional level information, analysis and recommendations to WEXs' most strategic clients on account set-up options as part of the sale
Motivate and inspire team to provide superior/world class customer service; lead by example
Quality Assurance and Controls:
Insure all controls are followed and issues are escalated immediately to appropriate levels of management
Design and implement new controls to add additional levels of checks and balances to manual processes
Seek ways to reduce overall implementation time from close to transition complete while maintaining quality
Hire, train, develop, and supervise a team of Implementation Managers
Drive a collaborative, high morale group to achieve both individual and departmental objectives and coach team members to stretch and grow professionally
Advocate for the needs of the team as a whole as well as individual team members.
Communicate and support corporate and management policies and decisions.
Participate in technology and other Corporate Payment projects representing the Operations area and the value add service it is for our clients
Build and establish strong relationships with superiors, peers and subordinates as well as customers and vendors, enabling maximum collaboration and a productive environment.
Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5 plus years work experience in a related field
2-3 years management experience remote employee management experience preferred
Experience with implementations, ideally in the commercial payments industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be team and goal oriented
Computer skills (Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working with Mastercard or Visa
Project management skills
