The Essilor of America Manager, Corporate Communications and Brand Reputation creates, identifies and monitors communications programs across paid, earned and owned channels as it relates to the company's reputation and its brand with key customers. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to define EOA's position on different issues, create communications opportunities in the appropriate channels, and mitigate risks to the company's reputation. Additionally, the Manager will support communication campaigns that drive the company's mission, as well as community relations opportunities to enhance EOA's brand reputation locally. The Manager, Corporate Communications and Brand Reputation will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Communications and Brand Reputation.


  • Develop and manage industry and customer communication programs that bring Essilor of America closer to its customers

  • Own company's message platform and create innovative ways to storytell in paid, earned and owned corporate content

  • Create and promote clear connection between communications programs and business drivers

  • Manage EOA Newsroom ensuring content is engaging, informative, and creating value for customers in learning more about EOA's strategic inititatives, culture and mission

  • Assist Sr. Director in M&A, corporate and crisis plan development and execution as needed

  • Manage and drive Essilor brand narrative, including the work to drive our mission, to the industry, customers and local community

  • Manage community impact programs and volunteer opportunities for EOA employees in partnership with Essilor Vision Foundation

  • Assist Sr. Director in local partnerships and activations in local communities

  • Work with agencies and outside vendors to manage projects and ensure delivery of materials that are consistent with the Essilor brand and achieve expected results

  • Measure and report results on all programs (performance, insights and analytics); deliver data driven, detailed recommendations for program optimization

  • Ensure legal compliance with all plans, programs and initiatives

  • Travel as required to meetings, trainings and tradeshows

  • Contribute actively to the Corporate Communications team

  • Conduct special projects as assigned


  • Undergraduate degree and minimum 8 years work experience in corporate communications or marketing communications required; MBA preferred but not required

  • Work experience in both b-to-b and b-to-c communications a plus

  • Strong, creative and strategic writing

  • Ability to create strategic communications plans that tie to business outcomes

  • Presentation skills with a deep knowledge of Public Relations and brand story-telling

  • Excellent storyteller in written, video and digital content

  • Ongoing commitment to innovation in communications

  • Strong analytical skills including communications program ROI analysis

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and drive results in a fast paced environment

  • Consistently displays strong critical thinking skills with client service mindset and keen attention to detail

  • PC literate including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to lead cross-functional groups and manage ambiguity

  • Ability to influence change within the organization

  • Good interpersonal skills
