Overview
Reporting to the Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs, the Manager, Communications and Marketing, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing LOGISTEC's internal and external communication strategies and marketing initiatives in the US. Leveraging your expertise in strategic communications and marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive communication-marketing plans aligned with the organization's objectives and priorities. This position is based in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities
What your days look like as a a Manager, Corporate Communications & Marketing:
Design, develop and deploy internal and external communications plans to support LOGISTEC's strategic objectives for the marine sector, in the USA.
Develop and execute marketing plans in line with business priorities and growth strategy to enhance the organization's reputation and brand.
Plan and execute public relations campaigns, events, and initiatives to promote the organization's mission and programs.
Advise and support various sectors including management, business development, operations and corporate services.
Seize and create opportunities to position LOGISTEC publicly.
Ensure content management by putting forth the priorities, values, and culture of the company for the various communication platforms.
Establish content partnerships with our stakeholders and industry influencers.
Write, edit, and collaborate on the preparation of various types of communications: speeches, news, presentations, positioning messages, scripts, videos, etc.
Support communication and brand integration plans for future acquisitions.
Design and implement community engagement plans in the ports where the company operates to contribute to LOGISTEC's ESG objectives.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Manager, Corporate Communications and Marketing you must have:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or the equivalent
10 years of experience in communications and/or marketing
Fluently bilingual, English and Spanish, both written and spoken
Excellent writing skills
Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
Autonomy, creativity, and collaboration
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines
Good understanding of the digital environment and social media
