Provide advanced IT engineering and leadership in developing strategies and solutions for converged technologies and connected\smart devices such as IP cameras, Video Management System, Electronic Access Control, Facilities Integrated Workplace Management system, Multi-Function printing and campus card system. Also, providing advance IT systems administration support and leadership in the planning, implementation, management and support of multiple systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques for system and application administration in an enterprise environment. Considerable knowledge of operating systems and software and appropriate support practices.

Thorough knowledge of converged technologies and connected\smart devices and their interaction with network communications systems and protocols. Some knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of database management and reporting. Basic knowledge of enterprise application integration to enhance the sharing of data and improve business processes.

Ability and willingness to learn and work with new and leading edge technologies with minimal assistance and limited to no prior knowledge. Ability to manage and drive results in a complex environment and to manage and complete multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively manage time and technical staff.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with leading the direction and the system administration of CBORD's CS-Gold system, Pharos Systems' Uniprint system, IPConfigure. Inc's Video Management Systems or FM:Systems' FM:Interact system.

Experience administrating and integrating connected\smart, IoT and Building Automation devices. Considerable experience with networking protocols and utilities. A combination of education & experience equivalent to B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.

Special Requirements
40-hour work week Monday-Friday; Some evenings and weekends; rotating on call. This position is designated as sensitive. A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the final candidate. This is an open until filled recruitment.
