As a Manager, SSC Relentless Continuous Improvement with JBT, you will have the responsibility for planning, coordinating, and managing Relentless Continuous Improvement ("RCI") activities and initiatives that have broad organizational impact, with specific focus on Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Events and A3 workshops.
This will involve working across divisions and departments. This position will provide direction and leadership, shaping improvement opportunities, while providing process and project management expertise to deliver material performance improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong cross divisional/departmental relations, establishing trust and understanding to affect broad based Relentless Continuous Improvements.
Participate in annual goal setting activities to plan team RCI performance goals for all SSC service lines.
Provide Thought Leadership, challenging the teams to think "out-of-the-box".
Provide support as requested during Acquisition integration.
Plan issues, RCI newsletter
Work closely with JBT Business Units to define and publish metrics to be used throughout the respective performance improvement projects Kaizen Events, A3 workshops or RCI projects to prioritize opportunities, measure status, performance and effectiveness ensuring adequate communication to requisite stakeholders.
Define project charters, scope and change requests, recommending approval/denial based on project performance, budget constraints, dependencies, staffing availability, and strategy adherence.
Monitor status of projects and provide early warnings of deviations from the work plan, including the impact and realignment strategies required; reporting, tracking and ensuring signoff of completed deliverables.
Ensure the project portfolio is properly staffed with the right resources, at the right time, and in the right roles; managing changes to project and scope, including the impacts to schedule and cost.
Lead the development of new tools and methodologies.
Contribute to governance forums as appropriate.
Manage training and educational programs for new processes as required.

Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field with two years of working experience Extensive LEAN Enterprise/Six Sigma/Kaizen or equivalent process improvement experience. Three years of Lean / Continuous Improvement experience in a transactional environment, example; Shared Services, Customer Service / Sales Support, Financial Services, etc.

Proven track record of successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Broad based experience in accounting, financial and cross-functional back-office systems.
Experience in multinational organizations.
Ability to effectively supervise and motivate virtual teams and to relate effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management.
Proficiency in personal computer skills including Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams.
Working knowledge of SharePoint, Blackline, SyteLine, JDE preferred
Ability to travel 20% of the time, including international assignments
