Comprised of Disney's international media businesses and the Company's various streaming services, the Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment aligns technology, content and distribution platforms to expand the Company's global footprint and deliver world-class, personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world.

The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and International segment (DTCI) is a global, multiplatform media, technology and distribution organization for high-quality content created by Disney's Studio Entertainment and Media Networks groups.

DTCI includes Disney's international media operations and the Company's direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the upcoming Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service, the Company's ownership stake in Hulu, and the ESPN+ sports streaming service, programmed in partnership with ESPN. BAMTECH Media, developer of the ESPN+ and Disney-branded streaming platforms, oversees all consumer-facing digital technology and products across the Company as part of the Direct-to-Consumer and International segment.

The Digital Marketing, Content group is responsible for the content development and execution of the main Disney brands (Disney, Pixar and Star Wars), the franchises and films (Disney Princess, Mickey, Frozen), and brand voices (Oh My Disney, Disney Family, Disney Style) for the Direct-to-Consumer & International segment.

  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in digital marketing, video production, content creation and/or agency side

Responsibilities

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, management, development and execution of content across Franchises (Princess, Mickey/Minnie, Villains, etc.) and Verticals (Oh My Disney, Disney Style, Disney Eats and Disney Family). This person will collaborate with the Social Media Marketing team and Creative Marketing team to create the optimal content for each digital brand. They will establish key content practices through a data lens, providing feedback across the Social Marketing and Creative Marketing teams. This manager will maintain the integrity of Franchises and Verticals, manage three content strategists, while focusing on collaboration, innovation and staying relevant in the digital space. They will use their expertise in the digital space and their internal knowledge of guidelines and best practices to lead internal and external partners through planning, managing, developing and executing content.
