Position Purpose: Manage the community relations and marketing functions of the health plan in accordance with government and contractual guidelines

Manage the enrollments and eligibility of participants for the Medicaid and Medicare products

Develop and manage community outreach and marketing efforts to help generate enrollments

Assist with escalated questions or issues regarding the entire enrollment lifecycle

Research and communicate information pertaining to marketing activity guidelines set forth by various regulatory agencies and implement necessary changes

Research and monitor competitive products and marketing practices

Oversee workflow and performance of team and recommend improvement opportunities

Participate in health plan meetings, community meetings and task forces..

Review and analyze reports to plan work function activities for new projects, status of work in progress, and problems encountered

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Health Administration, Social Services, related field or equivalent experience. 5 years of marketing, sales or community relations experience including previous managed care experience, preferably in Medicaid and/or Medicare.

Experience with public speaking to community based organizations and member advocacy groups. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

License/Certification: Current state's Accident and Health Insurance Agent license and valid driver's license.

Newsletters, posters, email, raffles, reminders, etc. b. Onsite events, benefit fairs, town halls, lunch and learns c. Overall promotion development and deployment including ongoing benefit education and open enrollment support 2. Health Awareness Seminars in collaboration with the Cigna Onsite Coach a. End to end coordination of health awareness seminars b. Deliver single or multi-session workshops on a group basis (lunch and learn) c. Develop or pull from defined list of wellness topics; may be tailored to population, season, etc. d. Education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc.) 3. Coordinate Cigna resources in support of Wellness Campaigns as managed by the Client's wellness vendor a. Manage wellness bulletin board and electronic media board. b. Share health and wellness related educational materials.c.
