About the Role:
The Community Advocate Manager will be responsible for leading the team of Community Advocates, ensuring that our local presence is strongly felt and positively impacts sales, customer satisfaction, and brand reputation within our footprint. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, marketing savvy, community engagement, and operational coordination. The Manager will foster a strong local identity through strategic community outreach and partnerships, driving growth and maintaining our position as a community-centric provider.
What You'll Do:
The Community Advocate Manager will develop and implement community engagement initiatives that align with our mission as a reliable and quality-focused local internet provider.
Utilize RMOC (Regional Marketing Operations Consultant) insights to guide and empower Community Advocates in planning and executing local sales and branding events, community outreach, and realty relationships to drive new sales and upgrades.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with HOAs, apartment complexes, and real estate agencies, actively promoting Kinetic services for continuous growth.
Ensure the team provides exceptional local customer support in person and through social media, emphasizing genuine connections.
Maintain a focus on achieving results and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on local competitive activities, keeping the team well-informed and proactive.
Collaborate closely with operations teams to swiftly address and resolve customer escalations.
Foster effective communication between RMOCs and Community Advocates to address local sales, marketing, and customer issues as a team.
Engage with local community members and strategically partner with chambers, civic, and charitable organizations to elevate Kinetic's presence and demonstrate our commitment to the community.
Cultivate a culture of collaboration and rapport within the sales team and across departments for a unified local approach
Champion the use of local contact points, connections, and numbers to reinforce the "local" essence of our service and the ease of doing business.
Collaborate with the regional marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all regions.
Create and manage on-going communications regarding metrics and outcomes. This will require strong Excel and analytical skills.
Do You Have:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years professional level experience
College degree and 8+ years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12+ years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
Proven leadership in local marketing, sales, or related fields.
A deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and local market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering and nurturing local partnerships.
Strategic ability to plan and execute community events aligning with business objectives.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer escalations with empathy and efficiency.
