We are looking for a Manager, Commercial IT to be based in Madison, NJ. This position will work closely with the Revenue Management, Finance Operations, and Managed Markets business functions and cross-functional Information Technology team members to manage small and large initiatives to ensure that the Commercial IT systems being developed and already in place align with the requirements of the business community. In addition to managing projects and providing production support for Commercial applications, the Manager, Commercial IT will be responsible for helping to manage the relationship with the business and the technical relationship with vendors and service providers.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of the Model N Flex platform and surrounding system landscape to provide high-quality technical solutions that meet business requirements and support business processes.
Provide detailed impact analyses of external changes on our environments.
Identify and recommend opportunities for technical innovation across the system landscape.
Help direct and manage the technical aspects of a combination of operational, integration, and new projects.
For new projects, responsible for defining technical solutions, providing work estimates, impact assessments, and overall guidance on technical direction.
Maintain IT operational excellence within the group and provide an escalation point for any issues related to IT services.
Interact with internal IT functions to gain awareness of other IT activities and how they make impact our application environment.
Ensure existing change management procedures are followed for all enhancements/bug fixes and all appropriate technical SDLC documentation is created.
Provide technical guidance to the application support team on day to day tasks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including raising customer satisfaction levels, cultivating growth, as well as day-to-day communication as necessary.
Responsible for efficient and quick issue and problem resolution. Participate in meetings with business owners.
Lead and support other IT initiatives supporting Revenue Management as necessary.
The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:
7+ years of experience in systems implementation and/or support
5+ years in implementing and supporting the suite of Model N Flex (Revitas) Revenue Management systems
A solid understanding of the various Model N Flex systems and associated data models is a must.
4+ years of management/supervisory skills.

Strong SQL skills
A firm understanding of the systems development life cycle and proven technical experience.
Demonstrated project planning and project management skills
Experience in developing/working in a support model which spans across international time zones.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple levels of management in IT and business.
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
Strong experience in decommissioning and retiring legacy systems.
Experience with integration and harmonization driven by Mergers and Acquisitions.
Experience working with and supporting Microsoft PowerBI analytics platform.
Experience working in a SOX-regulated environment.
