The Portfolio Associate helps develop, document and update all PM policies and procedures. The Portfolio Associate will be our primary liaison with key business partners in various groups including: Business Risk Office, Compliance, Audit, Underwriting, Ops and Sales. In addition, the Portfolio Associate will serve as a people manager for 1-3 portfolio managers to develop and support strong performance and results.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Process Owner-act as process owner for PM policies and procedures (delinquency management, line changes, interaction models, etc)

  • Audit Readiness-updating of documents, retention and storage, primary point of contact for all reviews; drive data quality through effective controls and continuous delivery

  • Automation and Training-Integrate with Sales training to create feedback loop and promote socialization; develop and maintain system to log exceptions to processes

  • Change Management-Navigate matrixed operational and business teams to influence and orchestrate change; Monitoring of process health and cumulative impact of in market policies

  • People Manager-lead and motivate a team to achieve high performance and deliver results

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and change

  • Effective time management and organization skills

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, verbally and written form

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Strategic planning and delivery

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of process management experience

  • At least 1 year of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of process management experience

  • At least 3 years of people management experience
