Manages the revenue cycle for the Department in support of the GHS mission and goals. Develops internal departmental resources, utilizes UMG Admin support, and accesses GHS corporate services as appropriate to maintain accountabilities for areas outlined below.
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..
Bachelor's Degree- Healthcare management, Business, Accounting, Finance, or other business management field
5 years- Experience in physician practice management.

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements
In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, can hold High School diploma or equivalent along with 5 yrs of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
In lieu of 5 yrs. experience in physician practice management:
Bachelor D. plus 5 yrs. GHS experience in Personnel Mgmt., Finance or Operations;
Bachelor D. plus 3 yrs. in UMG physician practice management, personnel mgt, finance or operations,
Masters D plus 3 yrs of a combination of GHS and UMG physician practice management, personnel mgt, finance or operations.
Other Required Experience
Master's Degree (Business or Healthcare)- Preferred
