Manager - CMC Laboratory Operations - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

The Laboratory Operations Manager is responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the Laboratory. He/she works directly with the Administrative Director to assure that the Laboratory provides appropriate clinical services within the overall mission of the Medical Center and John Muir Health.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science

• Biology or

• Bachelor of Science

• Biochemistry or Chemistry or

• Bachelor of Science

• Microbiology or

• Bachelor of Science

• Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science

• Required or Equivalent

Experience:

• 5 years Laboratory

• Clinical Laboratory or Anatomic Pathology

• Required

• 2 years Management

• Supervisory Position

• Required

Certifications/Licensures:

• CLS Clinical Lab Scientist (MTA)

• California Department of Public Health

• Laboratory Field Service

• Required

• HTL Histotechnologist

• ASCP American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification

• Preferred

• CT Cytotechnololgist

• ASCP American Society for Clinical Pathology

• Preferred

Work Shift:

Exempt Salaried MGR (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$169,496.00 - $254,245.00

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
