Position Information:

The Manager of Clinical Process Improvement is responsible for leading specialists in the creation and maintenance of Clinical Process Models (CPMs) to support improved clinical outcomes for key processes within the WakeMed Health & Hospitals system. The Manager will lead by example in the practice of CPM development and will also coach direct reports and other staff in the practice. This position, along with others, is responsible for supporting organizational strategic goals and objectives to improve performance in each of the aspirational goal categories. Support is provided by identifying opportunities for improvement, managing and leading significant cross-departmental projects, teaching, coaching, and mentoring individuals and project teams as appropriate using the tenets and behaviors of WW2E.

Department Profile: The Same Day Surgery department at Duke Raleigh Hospital cares for our surgical patients; pre and post-operatively. Our team is active in delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure an excellent patient experience, every time. Prior experience in surgical services or critical care is strongly preferred. Minimum committment: 12hrs per week. Job Summary: As a Clinical Nurse with Duke University Health System, you will make providing service your priority while caring for the whole person in a patient-centered atmosphere. The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
