As the Manager, Clinical Pharmacology you will report into the Clinical Pharmacology team lead.

The Clinical Pharmacology team is an integral part of the Johnson & Johnson Global Consumer and Self Care organization. You will be part of a global team working in an exciting, stimulating and highly competitive area. You will primarily support OTC products within the pain and allergy areas, but may also provide support to some consumer products.

In accordance with applicable company and regulatory, ethical and quality standards, you will:

  • Independently develop the clinical pharmacology strategies to support registration of new development products through interactions with cross-functional teams and with regulatory agencies.

  • Lead the development of appropriate study designs to address clinical pharmacology questions.

  • Perform, or oversee performance of, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses including modeling and simulation activities.

  • Report findings of pharmacokinetic studies and facilitate understanding of results.

  • Develop key study documents such as study protocols, investigator brochures, clinical trial applications, clinical study reports, and scientific publications.

  • Prepare clinical pharmacology contributions for dossiers and regulatory health authority documents.

  • Lead improvement projects focused on operational efficiency and compliance.


  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree with 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience or PhD with 4 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Degree in field of Science (Pharmacy or equivalent) is preferred

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment is required.

  • Good communication skills (oral and written), good team player, able to work in cross functional teams, performance driven, quality conscious with a strong problem-solving ability are all required.

  • This position can be located in either Fort Washington, PA or Skillman, NJ and will require up to 10% travel based upon business needs.

Research and development areas encompassnovel targets in neurologic disorders, gastroenterology, oncology, infectiousdisease, diabetes, hematology, metabolic disorders, immunologic disorders, andreproductive medicine The ManagerGlobal Aggregate Reports supports the Associate Director in allactivities associated with the aggregate analysis and regulatory activities.She/he will be responsible for core safety deliverables including scheduled andunscheduled aggregate reports, Risk Management plans (RMPs) and Company CoreData Sheets (CCDS) and will serve as the report owner for assigned reports. Themanager is an aggregate reporting expert and will have in-depth productknowledge to support daily activities including planning, conducting meetings,database searching, aggregate safety analysis and case level review, writing,project management/coordination of strategic safety documents, and oversight ofdeliverables produced by other team members. The manager provides subjectmatter expertise and technical guidance on functional requirements andenhancements to meet emerging global regulatory requirements and implementationof global aggregate reporting solutions and training, monitors compliancemetrics and implements corrective and preventative actions to remediatenon-conformance issues.
