Manager, Clinical Informatics

The Manager, Clinical Informatics shall be responsible to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of the Clinical Informatics Team. The Clinical Informatics Team (CI Team) will, in collaboration with IT, Care Transformation, Project Management, and Information Security, optimize, design and implement patient care workflow documentation applications for the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field required.

• Master's degree in Informatics or similar field preferred.

• Previous leadership experience preferred.

• Effectively work with all levels of management, physicians, and staff, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.

• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Ability to prioritize tasks.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Display excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Be organized and self-motivated.

• Proficient in use of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel.

• Strong understanding of EMR systems and related workflows/ processes

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technology related problems.
