Menorah Medical Center located in overland Park, Kansas, is a 175-bed, acute care hospital. MMC has a comprehensive medical staff with more than 600 physicians who offer exceptional experiences and extraordinary medicine for adults, newborns, children and teens.

The role of the Sterile Processing Manager is to ensure that quality care is followed per policy and procedure in the Central Sterilizing Department. Must have working knowledge of Standards for all types of sterilization equipment, sonic cleaners, and washer sterilizers.

Oversees the CSTs functions including appropriate decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, processing, packaging, and quality checks for cleanliness, rust, or needed repairs of instruments in Central Sterile. Assist with stocking all supplies and maintaining PAR levels.

Must be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures for processing, packaging, and delivering sterilized equipment to multiple departments including, Family Birthing Center, Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Department, and any other indicated departments.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Associates degree preferred

Licensure/

Certifications: Certification in Central Sterile preferred or achieved within one year of hire

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Central Sterile or Surgery preferred
