The Manager, CEC Compensation will report directly to the Director, CEC HR Compliance and will be an integral member of the CEC HR Operations Support Team. As a member of the Human Resources organization, he/she contributes a high level of compensation knowledge and expertise in both hourly and management compensation. He/she will be accountable for implementing and sustaining compensation strategy for all CEC sites. He/she generally works with considerable independence, developing timelines to accomplish compensation objectives in alignment with broader business objectives.


Communicating the Compensation Strategy

  • Ensure appropriate communication regarding compensation strategy and activities reach all stakeholders.

  • Train and guide site Directors of Human Resources (DHR) & Site Leaders, as needed, when implementing compensation strategy and practices using established COE information.

  • Regularly communicate progress and provide updates on implementation.

Partnering with Key Stakeholders

  • Discuss and represent compensation strategy items with the Compensation COE Team and VP, CEC.

  • Regularly partner with CEC Finance team to ensure alignment, especially during annual budget review.

  • Work side-by-side with local DHRs and Compensation COE for @Center and xCenter implementation and market data collection.

  • Participate as a full active member of the Americas Compensation COE team driving alignment with CEC's and other brands and initiatives and determining proper prioritization.

Tracking, Monitoring and Managing Compensation Implementation

  • Maintain a full, current database of HOURLY compensation for all CEC sites including:

  • Wage structure of each site

  • Wage scale for each site

  • Market data for each market (collected by the local DHR)

  • Maintain a full, current database of MANAGEMENT compensation items for all CEC sites including:

  • Equity Increases

  • Status change (exempt and non-exempt)

  • Monitor use and need of hourly and management occupation codes and see to reduce excessive codes.

  • Assist in determining Management MRP ranges for Non US sites

  • Oversee hourly compensation implementation and spot check database information against Center or xCenter implementation.

Develop and Implement Short and Long-Term Compensation Direction

  • Create and maintain hourly wage planning tool for markets as assigned. Participates with Compensation COE on the annual hourly wage planning process.

  • Establish process for tracking and approvals of management equity increase requests.

Management Compensation

  • Participates in the annual bonus process to ensure bonuses are processed timely and accurately. This includes all aspects of:

  • User Acceptance Testing for the Compensation Planning Tool;

  • Cycle set-up;

  • Communications activities;

  • Production set-up and testing;

  • User questions and problem solving; and

  • Bonus adjustments and exceptions.



Education and Experience

  • Associate's Degree; 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related professional field or equivalent experience.


  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related professional area, from an accredited university; 1 2 years of analysis, design and administration experience including compliance with relevant state and federal laws.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Demonstrated experience interacting effectively as a team member or consultant with all levels of associates.

  • Ability to perform independently under limited supervision.

  • Experience in planning, leading, and coordinating small projects.

  • Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel are required; Access proficiency a plus. PeopleSoft experience is preferred.

In addition, the Authorization Review Nurse will provide education and customer support to providers and beneficiaries. Remote work offered in the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska ONLY In this role you will: * Review 20 to 25 individual patient medical records and gather necessary information to determine medical necessity based on Interqual Criteria for skilled cares (SNF), Mental Health, Adjunctive Dental, Transplants, Cancer Clinical Trials, Hospice, and Extended Care Health Option (ECHO). * Make determinations within 2 to 5 business days after all information is received to meet required standards. * Build template letter and communicate with provider for needed records/decisions. * Gather information and organize it for the Medical Advisor review when medical necessity is not determined at specific level. * Respond to emails, faxes, and phone calls from providers, beneficiaries, and other departments to address benefit eligibility questions and provide education of TRICARE for Life policy and procedures. * Advocate for Veterans and their families regarding benefits with TRICARE for Life. * Research and apply current medical practices in determination process. * Assist in development and ongoing revision of managed care policies, procedures, and letters.
