Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:
Analyze historical, current and future needs to anticipatehiring
Collaborate with HR business partners and hiringmanagers to identify recruitment and selection needs that meet business requirements
Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies utilizingemerging recruitment methods and technology
Form strategic partnerships and employment brandinginitiatives to build a talent pipeline and best position Compass Minerals as anemployer of choice
Promote an inclusive and diverse workforce throughcomprehensive talent discovery strategies
Build candidate slates from qualified internal andexternal candidates, accurately assess talent and act as a consultant to hiringmanagers
Lead team initiatives, but also actively recruit, screen,interview, and manage pre-employment and onboarding processes to ensurevacancies are filled on plan
Develop a behavior-based interview process, includinghiring manager skill-building
Mange with data and determine KPIs to identify areas of strengthand opportunity (e.g. time-to-fill, cost/hire, source effectiveness, hiringmanager satisfaction, quality of hire)
Assess effectiveness of talent discovery programs andcontinuously drive improvements
Ensure a positive, seamless candidate experience

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources orrelated field
5-8 years of experience
Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer brandingtechniques
Understanding of selection methods and techniques
Knowledge of HR information systems, specifically ApplicantTracking Systems (ATS)
Proficient in the use of social media, job boards,sourcing and recruitment marketing tools
Strong leader, able to motivate and engage a team
Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills
Strong verbal, presentation and interpersonal skillswith the ability to collaborate with partners at all levels
Solid organizational skills to prioritize workload andmeet sensitive deadlines
PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
