Manager, Career Services (Student Services /Alberta)

Position Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Student Engagement & SSSE Operations, this Student Services leader oversees the institution's Career Planning and Employment Development efforts by supporting students and alumni with the tools necessary to make sound career decisions, complete postgraduate training, and find meaningful employment. The Manager of Career Services is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all institutional career planning programs and activities to ensure that students and alumni are given opportunities to explore and select career options and acquire work-related experiences to maximize career placement prospects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, counseling, or a closely related field, as well as five years of general business work experience and/or human resources work experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects.

• Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year -for- year basis.
