Job Summary: The Manager works with the CNO to set the overall tone and philosophy for professional practice in Cardiac Services and Ambulatory Outpatient Departments (e.g.
Oncology, Nephrology, etc.). This position requires demonstrated leadership and management ability with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Evidence of excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to manage human and financial resources is essential. Must be self-directed, able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and must be able to supervise others, presenting change in a positive manner to create good clinical and operational outcomes.
Must be able to demonstrate collaboration with physicians and all hospital departments, assuming responsibility for the care of patients. This position will also function as Nursing House Supervisor to work collaboratively with nursing leadership to enhance patient flow on the day shift. Coordinates patient care to improve quality of care through the efficient use of resources and thereby enhancing quality, cost-effective outcomes. Works closely with the patient, nursing and physician staff to restore health to the patient.
Current Massachusetts RN licensure.
BSN (MSN preferred)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum four years of related experience.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Basic computer knowledge.
