Job Summary

Our global corporate affairs and communications department is responsible for managing Hilton's corporate reputation, brand communications, and fostering positive relations with federal, state, and local governments, associations and influencers.

What will I be doing?

As the Manager, Business to Business (B2B) Communications, in coordination with the Director, Brand Communications, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, you will lead and support communications and public relations strategies and tactics that support Hilton's B2B and Group, Meetings and Events efforts a critical part of our enterprise business. You will partner closely with internal teams, including B2B Marketing, Product Innovation, Commercial Services and Hilton Worldwide Sales. In addition, you will build relationships with top media outlets and trade associates to share Hilton's story.

More specifically, you will:

  • Source input from multiple key partners to develop and refine PR strategy and plans.

  • Run media relations activities, including proactive and responsive media requests. This includes handling the drafting, editing and distribution of press releases/pitches and editorial content for Hilton Online Newsroom and internal GM&E resource pages. You will support integrated media opportunities; plan and execute media requests and media familiarization (FAM) trips; develop and maintain relationships with targeted journalists and outlets; manage third-party PR agency supporting efforts; and deliver coverage and project reports.

  • Lead communications for B2B related internal and external campaigns, events and meetings. This involves staff events and senior level executives as needed.

  • Collaborate with brand and business leaders to identify efficiencies in storytelling opportunities.

  • Develop and deliver B2B PR presentations as needed.

  • Oversee and manage budget for assigned projects.

  • Support the PR and B2B annual planning processes.

  • Support communications for sales/B2B-related issues and crises as needed.

  • Experience in developing PR strategy, pitching and managing interviews and events with senior company executives

  • An eye for news and being able to craft engaging content and stories to attract target-right media

  • Experience in PR agency and Corporate or Consumer communications

  • Meetings and Events, Group Business or B2B experience

  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-energy and fast-paced environment

  • Able to work with various disciplines

  • Positive and patient and has an understanding of and appreciation for cultural differences

  • Problem solving and analytical mindset to solve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism and integrity

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience working in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism

  • Three (3) years of communications or public relations agency experience

  • Two (2) years leading internal team and/or agency partners

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Travel - up to 25% or as needed

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MA/MS Master's Degree

  • Seven to nine (7-9) years of work experience in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations

  • Experience working in travel industry/association and/or meetings and event or industry/association

  • Profusion with Cision and building media lists

The Public Sector PBM – Insight will serve as the HPE leader to the Insight Enterprises Inc. Federal and SLED Businesses. The Public Sector Partner Business Manager - Insight will focus on driving HPE Federal and SLED sales thru Insight Enterprises Inc., while maximizing competitive share, revenue, and margin for the company. Trains the partner to identify, qualify, and close new business that results in substantial incremental revenue and margins to the company in addition to maintaining and expanding existing product and solution offerings. Accountable for achieving sales goals and managing MDF including maximizing ROI. Coordinate the overall partner account management activities with other company Business Organizations.
