Since our founding in 2001, we have contributed millions of dollars to the Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) in Seattle, WA.

The Business Systems Manager position is responsible for managing NPP's Technology staff and accomplishing business objectives by delivering information system projects and enhancements.

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for delivery of technology services to NPP, including: commercial websites, end user computing support, UCaaS, data services, sales and CRM tools, and infrastructure. The successful candidate possesses a combination of technical, business, and managerial skills: Technical skills related to information technology, data, SaaS, and cloud services; business skills to understand sales and marketing processes and requirements; and managerial skills to define the operations of the IT organization and supervise team members. The position requires the ability to both manage large, significant changes to the business and technology teams, and to dig in and solve complex technology and process problems.

  • This work location of this position will be moving to the SeaTac area around May of 2020.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, technology, information systems or related field.

  • 3-5 years of management experience

  • Requirements documentation and business systems analysis skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

  • Strong customer focus, ability to probe customer needs and translate customer requirements into system specifications

  • Strong business acumen

  • Superb knowledge of business processes and CRM best practices required to support business process requirements

  • Technical: Web technologies, Salesforce, Wordpress, Boomi, Auth0, and business cloud services


  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in business or technology or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of strong operational experience with Salesforce strongly desired.

  • Experience with PowerBI and other Microsoft reporting tools

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
