Spire is seeking a Manager Business Support Services. This manager is responsible for resources who administer, develop, configure and troubleshoot the following applications: Microsoft Office 365 suite, project management, issues tracking and change management, information technology asset management and inventory and employee management suite, including contingent employee onboarding and electronic security form and workflow. The resources will hold positions such as Lead Analyst, Systems Analyst, System Administrator and Programmer. This position reports directly to the Director, ITS Business Support Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic direction to business users for O365 applications, in accordance with Microsoft's direction, enhancements, best practices and updates

  • Coordinating O365 changes, updates and implementation of new functionality between Information Security, Infrastructure and business users

  • Managing resources on the design and maintenance of our SharePoint environment architecture and navigation structure for all Spire SharePoint sites, and the creation and modification of SharePoint content

  • Providing leadership and strategic direction to SharePoint resources on the creation of sites, workflow solutions and migrations

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to resources for the creation and modification of training programs to support business applications

  • Guiding the application of SharePoint site governance for permissions, site creation, content management and archiving in accordance with Spire Records Management policies

  • Providing leadership and direction over Spire's OneDrive environments during the transition from on premise network storage, including governance and usage monitoring

  • Working with SharePoint support and end user support teams to resolve SharePoint end user problems

  • Working with the RIM team to ensure appropriate content lifecycle processes are in place

  • Working with the compliance team to establish policies, procedures and processes to prevent data leakage and to secure access to sensitive data

  • Keeping abreast of new O365 and Teams features and changes impacting all applications in use

  • Assisting with any communication planning for efforts leveraging O365 technologies

  • Creating and maintaining an audio visual strategy and implementation plan, enterprise wide, of new and existing technologies to deliver optimum functional to end users

  • Providing strategic direction to programmers and analysts on updates and enhancements to current and future applications as requested by business users

  • Coordinating project management solutions involving SharePoint, MS Project and Power BI

  • All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead Analysts O365/SharePoint, Systems Analyst, System Administrator, Programmer Analyst

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • MBA and PMP preferred

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Ten (10) years of management experience in Information Technology

  • Five (5) years of experience managing projects and documenting business requirements

  • Strong analytical capabilities, demonstrated knowledge and understanding of user administration technologies

  • Solid understanding of business organization and processes.

  • Must have strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills

  • Experience using Microsoft applications, project management, ticketing and change control applications

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Normal Work Environment Work is normally performed in a shared office environment

  • Normal 40 Hours work week

  • Overtime and/or travel required

Key responsibilities will include: * Identifies risks and problem areas across Conduct Management and recommend modifications to standards, policies, and procedures to improve performance. * Assists with development and maintenance of Self-Assurance methodology and associated processes. * Consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for Self Assurance activities.
