Manages and oversees business performance and analytics, fleet maintenance, garage manager and staff and training department. Facilitates set-up of locations, staffing, and asset procurement in new markets. Collaborates with Customer Service and Dispatch Management to ensure market demands and service level obligations are being met. Responsible for managing to department P&L's, meeting internal and external demands, and adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. This position may also provide assistance with special projects and communication efforts to members, clinic staff, and community partners. Provides strategic management support to the Director, Transportation Operations through oversight of all assigned aspects of Comfort Care Transportation operations in multiple facilities throughout assigned area. This position is also responsible for serving as the system administrator for Comfort Care operations, as well as creating and producing production and performance reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing oversight and administration of existing business processes and procedures, user training, business rules and ongoing support. Reviews business processes and procedures for areas for improvement. Oversees department trainer to ensure training incorporates any changes or updates to process and procedure

  • Manages reporting and analysis of key department, product, and service metrics, including but not limited to utilization, cost management and analysis, quality assurance and marketing effectiveness

  • Works with Transportation and Dispatch management to review work flows and suggest and implement efficiencies as needed

  • Oversight of Fleet department to include repair cost and labor analysis for both internal and external repairs and provide support to Director, Transportation Operations in fleet purchasing process

  • Acts as the vendor liaison for Comfort Care business needs, represents CCT on long and short-term projects, evaluates cost-effective and efficient operational solutions

  • Presents analyses results and recommendations to leadership in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. Recommends and implements new or modified methods and procedures to improve on reporting, including timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to management

  • Maintains the Comfort Care Sharepoint site ensuring all content is compliant, accurate, and relavent to the web based community. Coordinates updates with various departments and maintains site security and content

  • Responsible for maintaining Comfort Care scheduling site and dispatch systems and works with IT counterparts resolving any issues or implement changes/upgrades

  • Assists in the budgeting process by providing metrics and developing departmental costing assumptions, and working with team members to determine areas of improvement for departmental spending

  • Responsible for all aspects of staff development to include hiring, training, coaching and development

  • Works cross-functionally as a project manager with internal and external clients to develop and implement software solutions for assigned functional areas

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business Administration, Management or a related field required.(5 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree).

  • 5 or more years of operational and technical related experience with at least three years of management experience

  • Experience working with vendors

  • Advanced excel skills

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Ability to analyze operational data, draw conclusions and make recommendation to senior management for consideration required.

  • Ability to effectively manage staff and discipline/coach them when needed required.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of simultaneous projects required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with patient transportation operations preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25ounds

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle

  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
