Takeda's Oncology Drug Discovery Operations group is seeking a highly motivated team member who will have a broad range of responsibility for non-scientific support to facilitate the execution of organizational business objectives.
The successful candidate will provide managerial oversight of ODDU sample logistics activities.
Independently work with ODDU team members to enable Ariba purchasing and interface with global systems teams for issue resolution.
Serve as ODDU point person for capital equipment purchases including tracking, submitting PO requests and interfacing with the Procurement Category Lead and Asset Management team.
Enable ODDU contracting by submitting requests and independently interfacing with Legal to drive timely completion of agreements.
Partner with Procurement, Legal, Facilities, and other groups across the TBOS campus to facilitate execution of ODDU objectives and resolve issues.
Contribute to ODDU SharePoint strategy, maintain group sites and identify additional tools to enhance group communication.
Supervise ODDU sample logistics team member.
Provide lab management support as necessary to enable ODDU scientific objectives.
Independently manage special projects as necessary to advance ODDU objectives

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in science or business-related field desired
5+ years experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry desired
Demonstrated experience managing projects and contracts in a global matrix/team environment
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word
Proficiency in SharePoint
