About the Team

The Product Partnership & Business Development team accelerates the growth and innovation of DoorDash's Marketplace and Commerce Platform (Drive, Online Ordering, Voice AI) businesses by sourcing and expanding technology partnerships. This team works directly with senior leadership across DoorDash to assess the competitive landscape and make strategic decisions about building, buying, or partnering as we decide how to bring the best suite of services to our merchants.

About the Role

We seek an entrepreneurial and strategic individual who enjoys rolling their sleeves and building. You will lead B2B partnerships that enhance DoorDash products and services and innovation in our go-to market.

You will sit on the Product Partnership & Business Development team and report into the Senior Manager of Product Partnership & Business Development.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build and manage important ecosystem partnerships: You will build relationships, lead deal negotiations and manage a portfolio of strategic integration partners, including some of the largest companies within the restaurant tech ecosystem.

  • Own business strategy and outcomes: You will help define the strategy to grow our Restaurant products. You will use data and insights to create partnership strategies and operational plans that enhance our product offerings and enable scalable growth.

  • Influence: You will advocate internally and externally for solutions that help our merchants grow their businesses and address our partners needs.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: You will work closely with internal teams spanning sales, account management, operations, product, engineering, marketing, analytics and finance.

  • Dive into data: You will leverage complex datasets to analyze partner performance, inform deal terms and recommendations.

  • Learn: You will be immersed in the restaurant tech ecosystem and develop an understanding of our merchant's needs and the best ways to bring our products to market.

We're excited about you because…

  • Have 4+ years of experience in external facing role (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).

  • Are persuasive and enjoy motivating partners to see the benefits of growing with DoorDash.

  • Have experience supporting or leading business negotiations, including contract reviews.

  • Have experience bringing new products to market.

  • Enjoy working with cross-functional teams and have a penchant for influencing others to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Display extreme ownership over multiple projects and workstreams.

  • Are humble and hungry; you have a bias toward action and are willing to get your hands dirty while staying open to feedback.

  • Have strong analytical skills and bring a structured approach to ambiguous data.

  • Solve problems from first principles. You're excited to solve complex problems in strategic and creative ways, and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters Degree a plus.

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
