PURPOSE:
Lead a high functioning team of internal business consultants to develop and manage a portfolio of transformative initiatives critical to the organization's success. Provide consulting leadership for executive leaders and other internal clients. Facilitate and lead dialogue with executive leadership to inform and shape organization's strategy development. Ensure strategic initiatives are well managed and result in high value and high-quality outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead a team of talented internal business consultants responsible for managing and executing strategic initiatives. Provide guidance, coaching, feedback to the team to ensure successful project delivery. Own accountability for the quality and value of project deliverables from the business consulting team. Communicate initiative status, recommendations, and outcomes to leadership.
Facilitate and lead a portfolio of strategic and transformative projects from inception to successful completion. Work with executive sponsor, business consultants and applicable stakeholders to define the work--aligning on project scope, requirements, deadlines, and success measures. Provide management and oversight throughout project execution and delivery.
Within the strategic planning process, contribute to the identification of strategic initiatives. Partner with the strategic planning and market research teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives to the enterprise strategy.
Effectively build relationships and influence throughout the organization to get things done. Serve in a seasoned strategic advisory capacity to all levels of management. Maintain a deep understanding and stewardship of the organizations purpose, vision, strategic objectives, and annual goals. Champion the business strategy throughout the organization. Work with business owners to identify initiatives of strategic impact.
Lead the development and maturation of the team, including development of practices, standards, and repeatable processes. Provide management oversight of direct reports, including hiring, providing performance feedback, guiding professional development, and other administrative duties.

This position manages people.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience:
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree with demonstrated financial and business acumen, preferred.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following disciplines: project management, communications, organizational change management, organizational design, systems thinking/engineering, business process reengineering, process improvement, customer experience, strategic planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Sophisticated approach to understanding strategic needs, financial/industry models, competitive trends and business impact.
Ability to lead high functioning teams.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
Strategic agility, structured thinking, and intellectual curiosity.
Experience with performing research and analysis in a functional role, preparing presentation materials, and conveying analytical content.
Ability to comprehend and convey business impacts of market shifts.
Salary Range: $115,120 - $213,692
